Well, I admit to cringing a little when I see that our last post was in 2005, but I assure you we are still alive and kicking. Here at SP Ent, we are currently doing what every gaming company should be doing in March, tying up the loose ends in preparations for GAMA. In addition to hosting a booth, we will also be participating in "Play with the Designers" Night, and we will also have prototypes of Gambit available to play in the open gaming area. Admittedly, production of Gambit has been slow, but we've made some breakthroughs in some key design areas, and our story continues to grow deeper and richer. It's like a good marinara sauce; it's better slow cooked.

We have also made a bold decision to attend Gen Con Paris in April. Many people have told us that Gambit has a European appeal, and so we have decided to do a "recon" mission. We will not be exhibiting in Paris. Our goal is to see what the gaming world is like on the "other side of the pond."

As Gen Con Indy approaches, SP-Ent is back on track with development of Gambit. We will not have a booth this year, but we will be visiting Gen Con on Saturday, August 20th. If you see us around, feel free to stop and chat; we'll be the ones in the SP Ent polos. As always, we hope to see you at Indy.

Hello all. We realize it has been a while since our last news update. First of all, we want to let everyone know that we are still alive. Second, we apologize for our lack ofcommunication as of late. These have been trying times for us here at SP Ent., and we thank everyone for bearing with us.

Let us start by saying that, due to various circumstances, final development on Gambit came to a virtual stand still for about eight months. However, we have resumed development on Gambit. In fact, the pause has also allowed us to revisit Gambit with fresh eyes (always a good thing) and make some important refinements. As a result, we should have a much more robust release than we originally planned. The wait for new material will soon be over. Keep an eye on the Gambit Info site in the next few weeks for more characters, empires, and art. Also, the letters will continue to appear, and the story will continue to unfold.

Again, thank you for your patience and support. Gambit will hit stores; just not the way we had envisioned it. We try to remember a few things during times like these: That which does not break us only makes us stronger, and all things are possible with God’s help in God's time.
