In January 2002, Chris McKillip, 3D artist and programmer, gathered a small team of gamers/entrepreneurs to start an entertainment company with a strong customer focus, based on a philosophy of integrity and great entertainment.

Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, SP Ent has become an active member of the Albuquerque Community, working with local educational organizations such as Albuquerque TVI Community College and the New Mexico College Awareness Coalition, as well as Hoffmantown Church, one of Albuquerque's largest Christian organizations.

SP Ent has contracted with external agencies to develop 2D/3D animated features and is currently developing games for the computer, console, and tabletop.
